chocolate chip cookies with salted caramel Ingredients (6-8 pieces) 1 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature 1 cup brown sugar 2 eggs 2 teaspoons vanilla extract 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon salt 1 cup chocolate chips Salted caramel sauce (find my homemade recipe link in bio) Cream together 1 cup of unsalted butter and 1 cup of brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in 2 eggs and 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract. In a separate bowl, whisk together 2 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1 teaspoon of salt. Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter mixture and mix until just combined. Fold in 1 cup of chocolate chips. Take small portions of the dough and flatten them into circles (each weighs about 80 - 85g). Place the cookies on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake the cookies in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 12-15 minutes or until the edges are golden brown. Pipe the salted caramel sauce into baked cookies while they are still warm.
